Bob's Burgers and Futurama are the only "adult" cartoons I enjoy. I wouldn't even call either one that funny, but they're charming, and unlike R&M/Family Guy/South Park/etc., I like them because I genuinely like the cast of characters. Bob and Fry are both oddly endearing.

First time I saw Bob's Burgers I thought it was a breath of fresh air, even with the odd animation choice of having characters constantly face the camera. It wasn't laugh out loud funny but fun throughout. I specially like that it's a family that genuinely cares for each other. Despite all the jokes it's never as antagonistic as the other animated families. That can be funny but it wears thin much faster.

I've been binge watching the entire series over a sick leave. Back when I watched it once or twice a week I didn't notice, but for a show about a food joint, it sure has a lot of toilet humor. There's not one episode without some sort of joke fart. In dact, it could be a drinking game. Take a shot every time someone farts or says the word fart.
