At least for me, and I'm using a 3080, is that when you launch the game experience installation, he start updating, but then the screen turns black and you can't manage to get it back, at least without and hard restart of the system. As you now, that kind of restart is to avoid, expecially if you're using an internal SSD, due to memory corruption and damage. Some weeks ago, i updated to the mid-may driver they released, and the config fucked up so much that the v-sync got deactivated for no reason, causing my pc to turn into a jet, due to the intense fans spinning. Solved this downloading the driver manually, using DDU to clean up the system and updating in safe mode.

It's a fact that 566.36 drivers from last year perform better for 40 series and below, anyone can benchmark it themselves. I used them for a long time because newer drivers were broken as hell.
