Boss health inflating for multiplayer has always been in Fromsoft games, Nightreign is just where it's really evident. But yes, multiplayer is just more fun because there's more stuff happening, enemies are tougher, and the Nightlord doesn't die as quickly. Solo is just dull.

This game gets boring 2 hours in but what fascinates me is how apparently you can play ER online without lag just fine. So why can't you do that in actual ER? Why does every online experience lag like hell there?

The people who dislike this should be glad it's doing well. The fanbase has shifted towards an anti-multiplayer stance over time. If these experimental titles do well people like me who disliked that multiplayer got worse and worse will fuck off from your mainline titles and you can have your fully single player souls games in the future.

No joke, My friend and I used that code and got that achievement the same day. I spent my whole morning learning Gaping Jaw, Moth, and Augur so I walked my friend through them while the rando was definitely not a shitter.

The three in row achievement can be achieved without trying for it, all you need is a bit of luck. I wasn't even trying to go for it when I got it and ironically my third win was a solo game I wasn't really intending or expecting a win on. On the other hand most people just play the characters they like instead of picking a different one every game or intentionally going for the achievement. Personally I've never even played Raider because I don't like grug shit.

I started replaying ER in preparation to this but Nightreign just sucks so here I am simply playing ER again and having fun. Thanks Nightreign.

yeah but if you winrate is even let's say 1/5 (and i play with an irl friend so we only get 1 rando), getting 3 in a row is 1/125 chance, so 50h-100h excluding disconnects and people leaving and ruining your streak

thought i guess if i drew a probability curve that 25% actually makes sense, guess i'm just unlucky
