When I first played 13-2 I thought the same thing. When I eventually replayed 13, I realized that they're both very different games. I appreciate each for what they are.

13-2 fixed most of my issues with the original. Noel and Sarah being such a good pairing makes Snow's existence even more pointless.

Shame the trilogy is so mixed reception wise. A remaster would be lovely.

I never played 13 but was hyped about the marketing and hype train leading up to its release, so it's forever cemented to me as as a symbol when life was peak and vidya was looking to be heading in exciting places.
