If you connect your laptop to an external keyboard and mouse, and leave it's adapter plugged in 24/7, is it basically a less powerfull all in one desktop?
>>712627118 (OP)Can you unplug all that shit from an all-in-one and then take it around with you on battery power?
>>712627118 (OP)Even better getting a monitor and using the laptop screen as a second monitor for.YouTube or whatever
>>712627118 (OP)Yes, do this too.
>start menu>search "when lid closes">select "power stays on when lid closes"now do what you were doing but add a 2k monitor.
>>712627118 (OP)Yes, that's what I do.
In 2025 I use a wireless mouse and keyboard and connect the laptop to my bedroom's TV, and I play videogames while chilling under the sheets.
Desktop nigs would never.
>>712627831>13.3 inchesThat's pretty much the size of a crt desktop screen from the 90s.
>>712628563My idea to use the laptop screen as a second monitor is better
>>712629091It's kind of bulky keeping a laptop on the desk. It's okay but unless u really need that 2nd screen for a guide or something I mostly kept the laptop out of the way as much as possible.
All I'm saying is laptops should be slightly bulkier for better thermals and more durable build quality because portable doesn't mean flimsy overheating piece of shit. You carry it in a bag or a briefcase anyway, what's a pound or two or some millimeters of additional thickness?
Look at that little /pol/tard cuckstation lul
>>712629383why is your house upside down
