I absoloutedly detest when orcs are treated as normal people, because it makes them just ugly as fuck humans and then noone plays them, so whats the point of having them. BG3 did this and I didnt even bother with them because of it even when they are always my go to. I like them being isolationist barbarians that live in tribes with their own moral codes.
Tech level is somewhere between early mediaeval and early renaissance where they get basic powder weapons because they lack the industry for anything more.
It's also sexy if some of their women are dickgirls and some of their men are permanent traps or femboys that never grow into a giga-huge warriors but are still just as strong, but that's just my personal brand of faggotry.

Wrong. Orsimer in elder scrolls have a rich background and a unique role to play in the setting. They are, in fact, the most "dwarf" like of all the races. They really dont fit 40k at all, but still - they are FUN.

You fundamentally misunderstand the appeal of orcs in fiction if you consider WoW orcs the best depiction. Theyre not terrible but they are basically just humans that look wierd in Warcraft at this point.

Orcs should be the near polar opposite of elves, thats how you measure how well they have been depicted. They dont necessarily have to be evil, but they shouldnt be replacable with humans if you just swapped out the way they looked.
