another example are those survival crafting games like Ark, Rust, and Dayz. even co-op games like Left 4 Dead can get toxic if you play the versus mode where niggers will votekick the second you do anything that isn't a perfect play. You can turn on items and just fuck around on fun stages without sweating even if you're good at the game. I used to do this all the time with my roommates and people they'd bring back to the room. Anyone who's halfway to well-adjusted is going to know how to sandbag when they're playing with someone who's not as practiced. Even my friends who actually went to tournaments for Melee knew how to play for fun with the boys.

I can't think of any other fandom that is so irreparably buck broken by people playing the game "wrong".
