Warioware sales have been declining despite the Switch being way more popular than the 3DS was. They will need to "shake things up" for Wario with the Switch2 in order to remind people why they like the guy.
Maybe we will get a new Wario platformer this time - or atleast something different.

depends entirely on whether the rhythm heaven team feels they're up to it, they're nintendo R&D 1's successors and thus successors to the wario land 4 team but it's been a pretty damn long time since the ol' yokoi team had anything to do with normal platforming games

I am not saying we won't be getting a new Warioware title. They will definitely do something which makes use of the mouse support and gamechat atleast.
But they will still need to do something else with Wario in order to keep him relevant. Something like a new platform could atleast make more people care about Warioware as well.

Never played any of the WarioWare games. Are they as fun as WL4? Do they play and feel like 4? WL4 is one of my favorite GBA games.

They're a whole different thing completely. You have different "characters" which act as levels and offer you a playlist of quick minigames which you must win or else you'll lose one of your four lives. They're pretty simple, but as you beat more of them, they get faster and harder. There's also "bosses" which do not have a time limit but are obviously harder. The first time you play a level, you beat it by beating the boss, but afterwards they're endless gauntlets. I've only played four of them and they're all fun but nothing mind-blowing, it's fine for beating in an afternoon and then picking them up when you've got nothing to do.

Pizza time is the sonic section, The regular levels are Wario landish without the back tracking, You can get P-Ranks without running before pizza time.

Mechanically Pizza Tower is like if level designs were based entirely around the headbutt charge and also the headbutt charge was way better and you had total air control while in a headbutt charge

There's some experiments done with WL4 levels ported to PT or Wario's headbutt charge ASM hacked to behave like Peppino's dash, Peppino completely chews through WL4 level design because his dash is just insanely more capable than Wario on his own

Mechanically is closer to 1 so without looking it up I'd say it came out before 2, with 2 they got rid of power ups and switched to status effects which are more fun imto

And that is why Shake it and Master of Disguise are ass, they misunderstood the appeal of Wario Land, Shake it feels like the guy just wanted to make a game with his OC and MoD feels like they just put Wario in there, like Fox in Adventures just because Nintendo thought it would sell more.
