Want to play this for the first time, what version should I go with? Does the enhanced edition fuck a bunch of stuff up, like re-masters/makes/releases tend to do?

Enhanced is basically unchanged from the orignal other than the fact it supports higher resolutions.

Why the fuck are you asking this on /v/? You'll just get contrarian BS answers like "you have to play the oldest version on a CRT monitor or you didn't beat the game".
The Enhanced Edition is excellent, the OG creator, Chris Avellone, was brought on board to oversee everything. There are no weird changes like in the BG1/2 remasters.
