Basically what some retailers have been doing where I live. It was hard to get a Switch 2 at first because everywhere cancelled my pre-order the week before and set their new stock date to the day Bananza comes out.

Welcome Tour would have been free, and ideally been an actual game that was packaged for free with the console.
Daily reminder that this loveable nigga had to convince the Japanese kikes (including Iwata, the purported wunderkind) to release Wii Sports as a free game with the titular console so people could play something genuinely fun for free, out of the box, and to attract all demographics who otherwise didn't play vidya.

I legit thought this was a return to form when they announced Welcome Tour for this reason. I was actually extraordinarily sad when it was revealed as a paid game. Not even like...5 dollars, you know what? If it's some fuckhuge game and had a real purpose, maybe some secret easter eggs that allow you to do cool stuff or secret games like Mario 64 or something from their legacy catalog but you have to find them hidden. I would fucking love that. I always loved that shit. It was my favorite part of Animal Crossing trying to find the games. But no. Wasted potential.

Likely pushed the launch by a month so DK could come out on launch day, and also included the Switch 2 tour demo as a free pack in game
