I have a confession to make: I genuinely find all of the recent remakes except 1 obviously extremely difficult, far more so than the original games. I can wipe my ass with the original games blindfolded but these games have such absurdly tanky enemies, so little ammo and you can't move above a slow jog to get away from them. RE2make and the bullet sponge zombies that take up entire hallways made me ragequit before I finished the game. I also cannot figure out the dodge timing in the Revelations games at all, even though I have no issue in much faster paced action oriented games otherwise.
