Probably, yeah. Terraforming especially should come back since they've banned the card it was originally banned for searching. I also feel like a lot of decks are balanced around Field Spells being slightly easier to find than normal spells, like Centurion just doesn't work without the field spell so it makes sense that it'd be a (technical) 4-of with Terraforming. The rest of these cards are just too slow to do anything meaningful or not as good as Konami imagines. Trunade is kind of useful against backrow decks or as extension for non-HOPT continuous S/T cards, but a lot of modern decks have HOPT or once-per-turn activation restrictions. Yeah SPYRAL might benefit from sacking a 1-of Trunade but SPYRAL sucks dick these days. Everything else here either gets justified because it's a trap and thus requires waiting a turn (You will die before you get to use it) or because Konami already made a consistent, handtrap proof FTK deck and it sucked

Branded new comer bonus doesn't really work because you'd need like 10 extra URs, likely more, and the deck is actually pretty hard to play optimally. RDA is probably the best structure deck and IIRC you only need to craft a Dis Pater and a Bystial package if you want to play it pure. Optimally, you'd probably want Fiendsmith stuff but you can always add that later and it's a solid engine anyway.

Budget staples are basically the same. Every actual good card added to the game is a UR now, but at least there's a lot more staple bundles. MAYBE you could argue a Rescue Ace Air Lifter package? But it's not good, you just get a body on the field and a draw 2 discard 1. And it's 90 SR dust since you play 3x Impulse 1x Air Lifter.

DRNM also kinda sucks currently imo, decks have S/T interaction and some things will just rebuild their board on your turn after you drop DRNM on them. If you really want board breakers in a going first deck at least play the ones that can be used as quick effects like Droplet or Eclipse Book or can't be responded to like Slicer, Lava Golem etc.

The vast majority of your gems come from doing dailies and clearing event missions every month. You limit drillbeam, dragon control is hurt badly and pure Fiendsmith basically dies because the only light fiend normals have 0 Attack, making Roar useless

It's a searchable negate and banish that can recycle itself on decks littered with negates. I can understand Primite as a deck designed to help Normal monster decks, but when those decks are Blue-Eyes which recently received really good support, or Fiendsmith which can start its combos by summoning Dipity or White Duston, then it is a problem card that needs to be culled.

After about 40 duels today alone I have successfully dropped from 14k DP to just above 8k. The game has been handing me only the worst and most blatant bricks all day and I don't think I see hand that isn't perfectly matched to get negated by my opponent more than once every 5 duels. When I set up my negate board, my opponent has the out.
However, I can't let these 100+ duels I've done over this weekend go to waste so I must continue, even if it means getting no sleep tonight.

The only issue with the terms is that they're lifted from MtG+early yugioh and modern Yugioh is extremely different, so you get people who are using different definitions based on what the deck types used to be or definitions from other games.

Like 75% of the confusion people have around the terms comes from people thinking Midrange is somewhere between "Aggro" and Control like in other games, when in modern Yugioh it means a mid point between Combo and Control.
Another like 20% comes from people who think Control just means few interruptions(aka a deck that's bad) when it really means a deck that focuses on grind game being its primary focus point.

Your aggro decks have higher engine/non-engine ratios and focus on spamming special summons and generating advantage with extenders, to the expense of going second which is what non engine helps with. Rarely more than 25% non engine.
Dilator, Synchron, Drytron, Dragon Link, Plant Link, etc.
Balance decks will run 30-50% non engine but have efficient engines that let them do a lot with less. Salads are here but so is Snake-Eye.
Stun basically has no engine. The point is to floodgate you out of the game. They will run whatever generic draw they have any maybe Seventh Tachyon, otherwise they do zero searching.

I think I like control-oriented midrange decks. I enjoy playing stuff like Altergeists and Melodious in their current iterations. Both could be called pure control in the past but have since been given a bit of combo-esque resiliency, especially Melodious. Both also have solid blanket protections, whether it's Protocol for Altergeists or Aria/Elegy for Melodious, though their modes of counterplay are very different.

Aggro decks already exist in Yugioh. It's just a horribly outdated type of deck. Trying to rename combo decks to "Aggro" just makes things far more confusing.
Stall decks are in the same situation as Aggro. It refers to a distinct type of deck that no longer sees any real play.

If you wanted to come up with new names to make things less confusing don't go trying to use names that already mean something. Also you should just learn the game in general first.

They're varied and depend on how the player likes to play the deck. Targeting protection, not realistically, but they can dodge targets often. They have some floating effects and can can protect some of their monsters.
Their endboards are usually pretty layered and a 1 card combo doesn't often doesn't fear your Raigeki or whatever shit card you're praying will win you the game. Evenly probably would.
