Post-release updates/"fixing" was never even in their plans, they just rushed what sorry excuse of a game they had through the door for a quick buck and cashed out.
75% of the points of interest are in the zones around the starting zone, and the rest of the Zone is a barren, empty shithole where you mindlessly run from from fetch quest to fetch quest because that's all you'll do as soon as you get out of SIIRCA.
