Did a strength run first with Ruins Greatsword to feel out the game, now switched to dex/fai/arc with bleeds, bloodflame misericorde crits

Twice, did NG+ with reborn character so I could do the DLC.
I don't mind the open world, but a single complete Elden Ring is a massive time sink of like 120+ hours, so just simplifying your run is a must.

1, too long for a replay, and imo not worth it since all the sense of wonder will be gone

Depends on whether or not you did everything you could do before Faram Azula. After Malikath dies all that's left is returning to the capitol to fight Godfrey and then Radagon, assuming you never attempted to do side content like Mohg or Malenia.

I think I've cleared it 10-12 times, with the first few playthroughs being more or less completionist runs, especially the second one. The last few were very streamlined. I knew what build I was going for and roughly where to get all the things I needed.

Zero. I always lose interest after the capital

The gameplay isn't that engaging as an arpg and once you've seen all the cool bosses and locations it's kinda just done

two times, including the dlc. if i were to make another run though, i'd probably skip the dlc entirely.

Once. I took my time exploring the world and the dlc. It took around 250+ hours. No point in replaying it for now. I will about 50 years from now tho when I'm old and in retirement.

Three times.

First playthrough was dex/arc bleed.
Second playthrough was pure int that only used spells
Third playthrough was str/fai classic high poise paladin

I played it when it came out and beat it a couple of times. One do everything run and one kind of fast.

I just started playing again now that I have some more free time again. It feels like a good time gap, now it feels fresh and I'm ready for the DLC

I put this game off for a year and one day decided to start playing it, my friend said we can do seamless coop mod so I bought it for my gf as well not knowing if she would like it or not. Turns out she LOVES IT and it’s her first souls type game, she went the sorcerers path because she panic rolls and has probably 80 hours over me (240~ for me @ level 300), and has every talisman, every spell, every enchantment..
we only beat the game twice because of this but I couldn’t have thought a better way to spend my time gaming with her. She would go off and get talismans and would ask me to help her with bosses, and I would be invading for rune arcs so we would always have a fresh supply.

But yeah only twice, got elden lord and ranni endings done, and I just traversed to the bottom of shunning grounds to get frenzied flame ending.

4 or 5 times. Most fun was dualing shortswords, second was claws and daggers even if claws are fucking busted. Caster and colossal sucked ass, its just waiting or baiting game, wouldnt recommend

Twice, once with a bleed build and using summons and the second time with faith/strenght build without using summons. I had a much better time the second time around, spirit ashes really are a shitty system and they should have never been added.

1 with a full clear of everything (pre-DLC). Completely burnt out on it and havent touched it for over 3 years now. All games from the DS trilogy are quite replayable but I still just don't see myself coming back to ER or getting the DLC anytime soon.
