I like the original Resident Evil games over the remakes. The retro designs are just too good.

1R is about equal
2R is the only one I'd say is straight up better
3R was shit
4R was great but it should've been a new game entirely

The aesthetic of RE1-3 and even RE0 are amazing but I hate tank controls. I play them and I like the games overall but its just not a fun way to control a character

Nobody actually prefers the originals, it's all just posery to appear more unique or interesting. Nobody has ever been able to point to anything between the originals and remakes that was actually worse. It's all meme shit like
