I expected shit because the director admitted he only did it for the money, but it's actually a 10/10 sequel. Unironically a must watch. But I'd recommend rewatching S1 again before going to 2. And 3, which is more like a Season 2 Part 2, releases later this month.

It was better than I expected, but I went into it with no expectations. When the games start up again it reminds you of what made the original so good, but unfortunately it ends on a cliff hanger with an EXTREMELY boring shootout that lasts an entire episode. I'd say wait for Season 3 (the Director admitted they split the complete story into two seasons to sell more) and watch them both then.
