>After several years of collaboration as part of the Pullup Entertainment group, leading to its acquisition as a first-party development house for the French publisher, we are going back to our indie roots and bought our independence earlier this year!
“We’re thankful for the support provided by Pullup Entertainment over the past years. This decision was made together, with mutual respect and a shared understanding that it was the right step for both parties. The transition came with difficult decisions, including the need to reduce the size of our team. We're immensely grateful to all those who contributed to our journey. Today, we move forward with a strong core team and renewed focus on what makes us unique. We can’t wait to show the world what we’ve got!”
- Pierrick Le Nestour, co-founder and chief executive
Streum On studio’s journey started in 1999 with Syndicate Black Ops, a FPS mod created with the Half Life engine released in 2001. Followed by another ambitious FPS/RTS modding project, The Blade of Destiny, that unfortunately stayed unreleased.
Strong from these previous experiences, the studio was officially created in 2007, and started development on E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy. The game was released in 2011 on Steam and GOG, and became a cult hit for over a million players!
The studio then developed Space Hulk: Deathwing and later Necromunda: Hired Gun, two titles set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe which are still published by Focus Entertainment. Both titles have been stepping stones for the team that built up its expertise with the Unreal Engine.
