Here's the true optimal way to enjoy Mario Kart World: play like a child.

Why is Nintendo afraid of difficulty modes? Do they think the risk that a handful of children might accidentally pick Hard and be slightly frustrated outweighs everyone else being satisfied with more options?

Unironically soul. More games should do this just to piss off the autists. Like action RPGs that make your attacks do diminishing returns if you keep long, broken chains going, but if you pause to look down at your buttons you'll suddenly start doing massively more damage.

Isn't that literally what people was already doing in 8DX to exploit the rubberband? I remember the best strat being staying behind to hoard items like bullet bill and then shoot to first place

>Needing to cheese the AI in a game for children
I guess they don't play online at all if they're struggling with the CPU already

I wonder how true that is, because there's a lot of fancy stuff you can do in the game that actually slows you down.

If you're talking about bagging that's not to manipulate the AI it's an actual strategy that works in multiplayer.

Aren't 50/100/150 cc difficulty options? I'm aware they affect speed but I was under the assumption they affected difficulty too (eg 50 = slow and easy; 150 = fast and difficult)

That shit explains how the AI can rubberband far beyond the playerโ€™s maximum top speed on later sections in Knockout races.
