I like Steam, I requested an Ark Ascended refund after 16 hours because the game just doesn't work as it should, and I got it.

Using the same image for like a decade makes me think this doesn't happen often enough to be a concern

I only know of it happening twice. The time before that was much lesser known, probably in the mid 2000s?

there is no image evidence for losing access to your digital games, so digital is ahead of physical by one picture since time immemorial

?
There's tons of digital games that companies have removed from stores and rendered basically inaccessible unless you've already downloaded it. PT was the most prominent example, people sold their playstations with PT still installed for really high amounts. I believe Moldman's stop killing games campaign is also due to ubisoft revoking everyone's The Crew license, a problem that yesteryear's "on disk games" never had.

This is wrong. You keep access to it as long as you'd bought it before it was delisted. No different than a physical game no longer being carried by your local Gamestop.
PT was not a commercial product so the comparison does not hold.
As for the Crew, I don't see how a physical copy of it would not suffer the same fate. It's not your access to the game data that was taken away. They shutdown the servers.
tl;dr digital is still ahead of physical

I asked one for Alien Isolation, /v/ told me it was good when it was a shitty glorified hide and seek game which you die every fucking time and weapons are completely worthless.

Losing access to digital games is the equivalent of the frog getting slowly boiled alive in the pot.

There's the been dozens of digital games who has been removed from the store due to losing their license. Which is what the average person looks at.

But meanwhile there's been hundreds of digital games whose content has been "removed", "altered" or "censored" but because they are not gone from the store you never notice the slow boil of losing access.
