The idiot koreans decided to make every single arena too small along with every enemy knocking P backwards even with a parry. The result is you get shoved up against the wall constantly, the camera goes up your ass, and you can't even see P or what the enemy you are facing is doing. This happens with 80% of the DLC boss fights.
They also did not improve their map design, the weakest element of lies of P, at all in the DLC. That was severely disappointing. It's still just corridors between bonfires and random junk assets boxing you into the singular corridor.
Instant gratification brainlets seethe at how the "rewards" in SotE are sparse but exploring that map was a goddamn reward in and of itself. It is the pinnacle of rollslop map design because the entire thing is densely layered. The verticality of SotE is a mind blowing experience as you gaze down from above at areas you will later explore or crane your neck upwards in wonder how you will access areas above. Basically the entire map is double layered at a minimum. It's a work of art.
