Kris vaulted the window to slash the tires without anyone noticing. Toriel forgot some bullshit inside the car and ended up catching Kris in the act and called the cops and asked if Susie wanted to stay for a sleepover.
So the only (original) purpose for slashing the tires would be for Susie to stay over because it was too late and she couldn't drive her home. Maybe to help Kris in the dark world. But if that's the case why did Kris left the door open? Didn't that make it easier for the Knight to get in? Or did she expect Undyne to be able to help?
