America's Army 2.x was awesome. So many people got filtered by the rifle range that half the team would rush to a downed sniper to grab their rifle. Many more got filtered by the parachute training and get spattered on landing in real missions. So many tense hours slowly sneaking forward on Bridge, trying to spot someone before they spotted me.
I tried Proving Grounds, and it wasn't horrible but it wasn't the same either. Their remake of Bridge wasn't the same as well.

I had to ask a friend to pass that sneaking mission to unlock something important, dont really remember what it was
all I remember were 2 maps, one on a razed city and a snow one where a team started outside and had to get inside a building

By the time things "get bad enough" to draft 30+ year old people the fighting would already be in continental US; either through invasion or a civil war. American these days aren't going to put up with multiple of rounds of drafts to fight in some shithole overseas.
