Give me a video game where you can't die /v/
>A video game should be fun, and anything involving death makes me sad.

Genuinely this, it's not quite a prince of persia game like the old ones but it's decently fun, very pretty, and the two main (and essentially only) characters have a fun chemistry. And the girl is pretty.
The main criticism of the game is that you can't die, so it's great for OP. There's a boss fight where you literally have to try to kill yourself to exploit that mechanic to advance to the next phase. Elika will always save you.
Even the downer ending is about not being able to die!

Minecraft in creative mode and you set the mode to peaceful so you don't have mobs killing NPCs

I have the exact opposite opinion. I wish games had way more permadeath. Give me that gamblers high!

Except that, generally speaking, I'm terrible at video games. I have crappy reflexes, I have crappy memory... And so, it gives me more frustration than fun. The threshold isn't good for mine. After all, everyone has their own difficulty gauge.

Endless Ocean. Peak comfy.

You're generally safe with puzzle games, fishing games, sports games, racing games, walking simulators

Im talking 4x and trpg. I hear you on the non strategy.
Im really digging games with flexible difficulty settings so you can always hit your sweetspot. Hate when they lock you in like RE8 or worse FF Origins after a patch.

Permadeath is absolutely disgusting game design and no matter how much fun the thrill of all or nothing and the feeling of true danger and fear of the enemy and the unknown is, the soul crushing feeling of losing everything you have built up over many long hours is a thousand times worse. All your grinding was for nothing, the cool weapons, armor and perks you have collected are gone and you will be sent back to square 1, chud!
And if you make the game difficult, aka not boring, losing everything will be a frequent occurance.

> gets fired from id for shitty work
> willingly joins EA
> be "creative lead" for one halfway decent game, gets his name plastered on it like sid meier
> starts and subsequently abandon a series of studios and ventures while claiming to be "the next walt disney" and not actually making any worthwhile games
> moves to china
> churns out absolute dogshit games like your pic (which was a broken mess with awful graphics that felt like a high school coding project, and a writing style that wanted to be super edgy but always pulled the best punch and ended up reverting to cheap poop jokes even after clearly trying to set up something funnier)
> Marries a chinese woman
> churns out mobile "games"
> grifts money on patreon (not kickstarter or gofundme, no he needed a monthly commitment) to put together a pitch for EA
> EA turns him down
> he claims he didn't even want to make the game because corporations and squares and the man you know like frick that noise totally not mad bro totally not mad at all bro
> announces he's retiring from video games forever because he's like totally not mad about EA ending his grift no no it's actually because video games are art and like it's not right to make money off them like the corporations are doing
> continues to work on chinese mtx loaded mobileslop while shilling his wifes botique baby fashion line
