I understand the character's gender is supposed to be ambiguous, but if sex and gender are different things then what little can be determined is observable through anatomy. Thoughts?

the reason this is acceptable and yanderedev's if thens aren't is because undertale is a sequential game (things don't happen until the character prompts it to do so) and runs fine while Yandere Simulator is practically a sandbox where if then code is running in multiple places all the time and subsequently has poor performance.

yeah gamemaker does a bunch of heavy lifting for instantiation and state management but for these scripted sequences toby should have made some sort of director object that read from an user readable/editable script format
