Will this genre have a meaningful comeback or is there not much more that can be done with it? Older stealth games allowed for neat creativity. New ones do as well but it doesn't feel quite as innately clever.

Old stealth games had those clever moments because the limitations required you to play smarter and the higher stakes success more rewarding.
