2025 so far is a pretty good year minus the price gouging some games and consoles are doing. Even so called "duds" like Avowed and Assassin's Creed Shadows weren't even that bad. Between Split Fiction and Nightreign Deltarune and Doom The Dark Ages and Expedition 33 and Blue Prince and Atomfall and Marvel Rivals and Kingdom Come Deliverance and Avalon Tainted Gail hundreds of amazing indie games and other games I didn't mention. This is one of the few years that I really wouldn't be upset want game wins GOTY, it's a great year compared to the lackluster years we've had. If I wasn't a cheap bastard I'd be drowning in so many games this year.

More often than not dogshit, clunky. Even when they are good I usually only get >10 hours out of them

Good gameplay loops typically, but updates are horribly far apart from eachother. Can also knickle and dime you out on DLC

$80+, woke yada yada, just flat out awful games. Some also having f2p mobile game tier microtransactions even they were a FULL PRICE PAID GAME
I'm just going to keep playing my 2004 - 2011 sweet spot games forever i guess :P

But the structure of 4chan requires a more "hands on" approach to advertisement, so they pay the mods to look the other way when they flood the catalog with the same cookie cutter threads with the same cookie cutter replies fellating the product. And when you point it out they dogpile and call you a schizo/tendie/snoy/poorfag/incel/barrydraconirian/whatever.
