Is it immoral to buy AAA games in 2025?

It's not immoral but you are just giving your money to millionaires as the devs who actually made the game (if for some reason you cared about them) already got paid and most likely fired to make way for some seasonal staff they brought on to start work on the next game

It's crazy how much of a psychological difference an extra 10 or 20 bucks makes when I'm deciding to buy a new game. When it was 60 bucks I didn't even think twice if it was a new game I wanted, I just bought it immediately. Now games are gonna be 80 and they're terrible quality unfinished messes that aren't even fun to play, what's the point? Might as well get into a new hobby now, gaming is basically ruined and Nintendo is putting the final nail in the coffin with their greed.
