Playing through it now and it didn't really start to sour until Terrydactyland. It's just too large and open so one of my few complaints about Kazooie (talon trotting has only upsides so why isn't it just the default) is much worse in this game. I'd also forgotten how many loading screens you go through in Grunty Industries

The spiritual successor is alright. It helps scratch that itch I've had since the end of the PS2 era when all developers decided this type of games weren't machoor enough for HD.
