I just don't get what's so good about asymmetric sticks or the thumb-destroying cross d-pad. The OG dualshock may not have had the best general shape but the layout and d-pad were solved in the early 90s.

your thumb's natural resting position is on the upper part of the controller, it's not that deep
if you play games heavy on dpad then the dualshock works better but if you play games where you never let go of the left stick like most modern games then the xbox design works best

I've got thousands of hours in left-stick-to-move games with a symmetrical controller and I've never had any issues with my left thumb, my right thumb has some built up strain though but I don't know if it's from the stick or the action buttons.

the Gulikit King Kong series are the best controllers on the market, and it isn't even close.

for one they use the magnetic Hall Effect sticks, so they never, ever drift.

second, just holding one you can feel the quality in the grip of the controllers and the buttons are perfect.

I've owned hundreds of controllers, this is the only time I've ever said "this is the best one".

The only issue I have with mine is that when I use it in wired mode the triggers go full retard mode and just activate at random strengths randomly nonstop, so basically.. I can't use it wired unless the game doesn't need the triggers. Tried updating the firmware, still doesn't fix it. Annoying but not deal breaking. I'll get a different brand next time though.

afaik most or all of their controllers work with switch 2 as a switch 1 pro controller, but some don't have gyro. I don't remember if that was because the controllers themselves don't have gyro or a support issue, but I'm pretty sure their higher end offerings like the Cyclone 2, Tarantula, and Super Nova should just work.

No I will not settle for dualslop. Nobody but sony thought it was a good idea to make a symmetrical controller. The vast majority of games I care about aren't built around two sticks.
