I'm whelmed. For the price I paid (around the same as my 'eck) it's really lacking in games. The game upgrades for your old games are nice, and it's nice to see them running at a nice resolution and framerate on a handheld (I'll admit emulating on the 'eck couldn't handle that), but it feels very lackluster overall.

I don't regret the purchase, because I'm sure nintendo will come out with some bangers over the lifespan of the console and I'm sure it'll get hacked eventually, but for now it's just sitting on the shelf. Anyone else feeling this?

Same, I even knew what I was getting into (a console with 1 [uno] game and some neat backwards compat) but I still expected some Nintendo 'magic' or something to surprise me and sweeten the deal. I'm also kinda worried about how hot the console gets while docked. No wonder they put a cheap dinky fan into the dock.

No, because I grew out of Nintendo around 2003ish. The minute the PSP came out there was no going back to Nintendo's handhelds or games.
