>Fable reboot coming next year
>New Forza confirmed
>Gears of War E-Day
>Phil Spencer teased the Halo remake
I think with the reveal of the ROG Xbox Ally, that basically confirms Microsoft's intentions for the next generation of Xbox hardware. 2026 will be the final swansong year of Series X/S, then after that it will be third party Xbox devices. From 2027 on, Microsoft will put more effort into Windows gaming and cloud streaming through Xbox Gamepass, while also building up their presence through cross-platform publishing (ie Halo on PS5, Switch).

But what's going to happen to my 360 or Xbox One purchases that don't support Play Anywhere? Rare Replay is playable through cloud streaming, which isn't ideal, but it's still playable. But sometimes the things you bought for Xbox consoles get removed from cloud streaming, like XCOM 2...
