If I hadn't already shilled $700 for the OLED Deck I'd get it honestly. Looks pretty good.

It looks like it'll be pretty solid.
Big thing for it is that depending on how long MS tries to gatekeep the improvements for handheld PCs, it could improve deck, regular ally, legion shit, etc a LOT. So I'm waiting to see if that stuff is gonna be gatekept or if it'll be public pretty fast.

Seems like a cool piece of hardware. I have no intention of replacing my deck any time soon but if I didn't already have that I would be considering the xbox one.

The question then becomes why?
It's a marginally more powerful piece of hardware (If the Z2 is following the trend the Z1 established, it will outperform the deck vangogh chip, but likely not to a capacity where it's playing things at anything close to worth the extra cost)
the main draw is that xbox is gonna make windows better, but you can just dualboot on the deck as is, and it will almost certainly benefit from the same shit.

I think I'll just wait for an ally 3 or 4, the deck will probably be pretty significantly underpowered by that point if steam doesn't launch another one.
