Does anyone have experience with a brain injury and gaming? I got a brain injury a while ago, it causes mood disorders and problems processing emotions. It affects my gaming.

When I play dota it is no fun, but I still want to play the game. My brain hurt when I lose, it is like a head ache. Usually when I play casual dota it is not a problem. But, I was trying to play ranked and after 60 hours felt like I needed to kill myself from brain injury pain.

Due to gaming addiction, I still want to play the game. But, now my dota queue is like 30 minutes long and I don't know what to do while waiting. Does anyone else have gamer brain injury?

I was working in a computer laboratory at the local university on my thesis and had a stroke. This is known as karoshi in Japan :(. I had to rehab at the hospital for 3 months. But, I haven't landed an IT job since then.

please tell me you're some over 40 guy getting a degree

To answer your question - if the injury is all psychological and you are physiologically still fine - talk to a psyc about some NDRIs. Don't touch SSRIs unless you gave up on having a girl or kids

Play chill stuff that doesn't need 100% of your attention or reflexes, casual, turn-based, city building stuff. Things like
