The environmental art, build variety, and lore (until you realize it doesn't really coalesce into anything solid, the alchemical shit is a cool aesthetic).
The open world (until you realize it sucks on repeat playthroughs and the side dungeons suck).
I still prefer the Metroid-like structure of the first half of DS1.

>until you realize it doesn't really coalesce into anything solid
Completely false
Elden Ring successfully implemented a mythology based on that with actual metaphysical and sociological implications

The Fell God is quite literally Saturn in the ancient conception of Sun King and depicted like ancient alchemical tomes.

I guess what I meant to say is it doesn't really say anything about anything it represents. There's no message, just expression, which I guess is fine in a way but I wanted more.

Wrong again, but it's understandably actually too in depth for the masses to catch many of the classical and reneiasance era references in the lore.

Not only it was not "kino", I realized I like focused Dark Souls/Sekiro experience. The so-called "legacy dungeons" is what I want. I don't like the open world in Elden Ring. I don't like searching every corner to find some shit consumable 100th time.

At the end of the game, I was exhausted and decided to not play similar games. I haven't bought its DLS's either.

It would have been better if the coop wasnt ass.
But yeah if you play it solo its the best game in the series.
