I dropped it on emulator so probably not. I could give it another try sometime, but I don't like having random battles in the city even if most of the game takes place there. I just sat through 20 minutes of intro and cutscenes and tutorials, I want to explore.

Better gameplay is enough to make me give it a try. It's funny how for almost 20 years it's been collectively agreed that Raidou 1's gameplay is genuinely atrocious and holds it back hard and now people are suddenly willing to die for the PS2 version of Raidou

Its been fucking ages since i beat both games but all i remember game play wise were

>cool story
>having a billion different demons that just spam heal trivialises the game
>grinding to actually use uncle Beelzebub was not worth it

>second game
>not so nice story but the part where you send a demon to explode in space was cool
>fiends can and will jumpscare your ass even in early game
>heals/mp were toned down but damn i love spamming those laser moves demons had
