The point is that the dungeons are barren, samey and short in BotW while in old Zeldas they were the biggest setpieces in the game and there were often more than 4 of them in total. TotK is a lot better in this regard but they still feel like minature "proper dungeons" to me, where everything is frontloaded and nothing feels like you have to really memorize the rooms and go deeper and deeper. They all end before they really get started compared to pre-BotW Zeldas.

I do. I also like it more than Wind Waker. The Lanayru region was uniformly excellent and I appreciate how the UI made virtually all actions real-time instead of pausing and running through menus. Game has its problems for sure and Imprisoned III in particular was straight ass cancer, but the high points are high.

I just beat it for the first time yesterday.

Absolutely underwhelmed. Ending sucked, characters suck, the idea that "Master Mode" is end game content and I have to go find all the stupid Korok seeds again just to be able to carry these stupid disposable weapons suck.

The fact that my game is just "Oh you beat it, deleted - good game! You can start from your save before you beat it tho" sucks.
