I still consider super meat boy to be the best 2d platformer of all time, just simple and challening and timeless. So picrel is easily the game im most excited about currently.

When I saw it it reminded me of that awful Toys for Bob artstyle they did with Crash 4. The readability is dogshit since they added post processing everywhere and littered levels with fog and other crap making the stage way too busy. Do people just not even try and understand how colors work anymore?

The visuals on this look pretty good. Seems less artistically coherent without Ed, the masocore gameplay and 3d graphics that look like super mario aren't sympathetic. I'd buy it... on sale
