You'll own nothing and be happy
*crickets*
no really anon, if you were dunking on xbox players then uhh congratulations I guess, you got all 5 of them mad
>pay a small monthly fee to play 60-80 dollar games for one-fifth the retail price
>game is automatically discounted if you decide you want to buy it outright
>can earn points to make it even cheaper
only a retard could see this as a "bad" thing,
You will own nothing!
You will never be happy!
>>712773760 (OP)We don't own anything because we all die eventually anyways.
>>712774430its certainly bad for the video game companies
Games are so expensive now that a year of Gamepass ultimate is the same as buying three full priced games, and since most people here don't even seem to finish the games they "own" (aka paid for the digital license) I'm not sure where the obsession is with having the game forever.
>>712773760 (OP)i bought it for my son so he has a steady pace of new games to try out, plus it lets me try out random indie games i would have never tried out otherwise.
>>712775168Yeah that's crazy man. I'm going to go play some games though, because my access has not been revoked.
>>712773760 (OP)>seeing the numbersDid they lost subscriptions? I read they were sitting at the 30-40 million mark; that's on par with the Xbox Series' numbers. Weird.
>>712777594>He fell for the trapGamepass has all those subscribers because they renamed a year or two ago xbox gold which is just online gaming as gamepass core. Actual gamepass is probably around the 5-10m mark.
>>712774430>only a retard could see this as a "bad" thing,>t. retard that hasn't done the math and seen he's paying more with a service in the long termOn the other hand, if you're using GP you clearly don't care about playing games at real scale and only do it for quick access for those short bursts to scratch the itch.
yeaaa i really dont give a fuck. I'm an adult with responsibilities & bills. Thanks to gamepass I've got to play games I never had interest in, one day anon, you'll grow up... i believe in you.
>>712779806>I've got to play games I never had interest inMe too, but I never have to pay
>>712778198I recall some time ago being stated above the 100 million mark; that was clearly the trap. But now the number they acknowledged was rather low.
>>712779806>>712779894Gamepass cucks in shambles
>>712778715>he's paying more with a service in the long termnta but i converted three years of gold i bought on kinguin to gamepass ultimate when the conversion rate was still even and you could upgrade for $1. so i got three years of ultimate for about $141.
>>712780029ah yes im in shambles for playing games. not my fault sony's sub service is worth fuckall. you snoys talk more about xbox than PS... i wonder why
>>712778715>>712780173Anti-gamepass trannies in shambles
>>712780196>ah yes im in shambles for playing gamesAs an adult with responsabilities; you don't. Don't lie, negro; you have very few time to play games and that's why you paid gp
>>712778198You're retarded
>>712779952100m is their goal by 2030 (?), it will never be reached. I don't think there's 100m people on the planet that play enough games to make use of gamepass. I'm not even confident you could hit that number if you put literally every big game on there.
>>712780402i work a standard 9-5 & can i fit 3 hrs of gametime before bed. anything else anon
>>712780440>I don't think there's 100m people on the planet that play enough games to make use of gamepassThey really hope GP on PC gets adopted, huh?
I've only ever owned a few games for every system I've had except for PC and the original Xbox (I had like 5 games) with gamepass I've already played more games on my Series X since December 2024 than I have in the last 5-8 years combined
>>712780471>can i fit 3 hrs of gametime before bed.>Implying modern gaming can have decent game sessions with 3hrsThis is not the 6th generation, anon; you waste at least one hour by just moving in modern games instead of using it with the meat of gameplay.
>>712780602That's like 30 rocket league games I used to play after my 3rd shift in the warehouse before I went to sleep
>>712780836Don't delude yourself; arcade type games are a minority of modern gaming.
>Paying a sub to play a 10 yo game that can be bought for dirt cheapYou're being offensively inneficient. Thank god I'm not your boss.
>>712773760 (OP)>t. zoomer who never grew up renting gamesWe used to spend 3-5 dollars to rent a single game for 3 days. That was the 90s.
This is a far superior deal.
