Only Bloodborne could make this retard premise work

They're people injected with Ebrietas blood or some other weird experiment
The sack headed people in the DLC are basically confirmed to be the same beings.

i feel like you can intuit "aliens be here" much earlier than the halfway point.

>Ebrietas blood
People are still repeating this nonsense? The Old Blood comes from Queen Yharnam, not Ebrietas. That's why she's in the game at all, she's bound to her dead son Mergo and Oedon, even long after her death.

The Old Blood comes from bloodletting beast. The bag heads were being mutated from Ebrietas fluids.

No, the Bloodletting Beast is Laurence. It's his mutated body, his mind is trapped in the Nightmare. Laurence obviously found Old Blood in the labyrinth, else he wouldn't have become the first Vicar of the Healing Church without it.

Bagheads probably do come from Ebrietas fluids, as they are Kin like her. The Old Blood turns people into Beasts.

Werewolves, vampires, aliens, forests full of snake monsters, big spiders and bigger spiders, not to mention all of the eldritch horror shit.
You fight damn near every horror trope there is in Bloodborne, even literal pitchforks-and-torches villagers.

No, this is a based trope. From Duck Til Dawn is a great movie specifically because it is like this.

Dark City too, though the theatrical cut gives too much info up front. I think Bloodborne's soft genre shift is why it's one of the best implementations of Lovecraftian horror in vidya.
