Probably. League's audience is fuckhuge, so it's gonna get a massive start and anons are gonna shitpost like crazy all over other fighters.
After the leaguelets realize what a fighting game actually is though, they're all gonna drop as hard as concord, and it's not gonna have enough for the fighter diehards to invest in it instead of what they've been playing already. Nobody's gonna leave tekken or SF6 for it. Strive will see a drop for it, but not a huge one.

It feels like the game is 4-5 years late and it doesn't look good enough to justify it.

And it's not offering anything new that other fighting games already have. And not only that, 10 characters at launch is a fucking awful idea.

Seeing as this game has been in development for 6 years and all they could come up is 10 characters as the launch roster, then it won't be surprising if they're slow to add new characters.

This thing has been in development hell for years and then instead of making an open demo for everyone they basically make it gacha whether you get an invite for it or not and then they gatekeep it for ecelebs and streamer shills. I'm glad no one will play this fucking trash.

I think they regret the tag team decision but are too deep to back out now. Incredibly stupid decision to go with a tag team fighter if they don't have the development chops to build a decent roster in time.
