My biggest question is whether port of older games, indie games, etc., that are capable of running on Switch 1 will continue to receive Switch 1 versions. For example, ports of old arcade games, 2D indie games, etc., will these games be compatible with Switch 1? That's the only thing I want to know because I have no intention of retiring my Switch 1.

I think Switch 2 can handle GTA 6 if they limit NPCs and such like they did in Cyberpunk but online would be more demanding as time goes on. Companies made a mistake of underestimating Switch 1 and they're not gonna do that with Switch 2.

The only reason it won't get 5 is because they don't want to take away any potential customers from 6 next year, even on a platform that won't get 6. There was a rumour of a 4 remaster, and that will 100% come to Switch 2 if it does, and RDR2 is reportedly coming, so Rockstar aren't against supporting the system.
