Prey. I love space stations.

Thief. Not sure if 1 or 2 so I'll choose both.
Also first Dishonored.

immersive sim is such a buzzword how the fuck is Thief an immersive sim for example? How is it in any way similar to System Shock? How is Arx Fatalis similar to SS and Thief?

SS1 is not an imsim
Anonymous No.712810995 [Report]
>>712810859
because when you play it, the feeling you get is a simulation of what being immersed underwater feels like.

1 and 2 are pretty much the same, both great, 3 is a bit more casualized but still fine, 4 is trash.

straight uprgade from the first if you want a pure stealth experience without the monster missions

I wish I could play that game for the first time again.

i mean it's a good game
DS1 just feels really tight
you can play it in many playstyle and i don't mean that forced youtuber "le epic chaos" shit where they memories placement of each npc then step everything in advance
Anonymous No.712815270 [Report]
ik you guys say SS1 isn't imsim but i could still feel the essence of it with stuff like fully explorable map you can go back in, fixed enemy presence , limited respawns and resources etc

it makes you feel like a guy actually stranded in the ship who has to make use of every thing her can and find the paths of least resistance in this very hostile environment

It has a weaker world and plot, with a sidegrade engine and worse player movement
https://youtu.be/VvkRANqtQjI
What that ends up meaning is that it's a far more forgettable experience, worse so if you cared about the first game's plot.

Human Revolution is still my top spot, i love it so much.
I think Prey (2017) would be my number 1 if you fought humans, but it's all monsters so it's number 2.
