I never understood the hate against The Witcher 3’s combat at all

I’ve heard the term “clunky” used to describe it so much but I literally never understood that.

Combat is deep, stylish and feels fantastic + has so much variety, it’s peak imo

Notice how the ogre jump attack quickly cuts off that is because if you add on the 3 missing seconds Geralt gets flung to the ground.

I liked only after installing the free targeting mod.
It removes the movement magnetism for swings and you have to manually do the footwork and can also miss swings, or if you aim well hit multiple targets at once.
The game should have this as an option by default, improves combat immensly.
