Just brought it on Steam, I was shocked to find out how good this game was. I always thought it was one of those games where you walk around for hours looking for shit to do like the 3D fallout games, but this is pure kino.

rdr1 is pretty great yeah. I think it's my favorite rockstar game. RDR2 is also great

One thing that really did stand out about RDR1 was that it didn't take long to find something interesting if you just wander, and I had some genuine "gotcha" moments happen multiple times.

>On my horse, see girl in the distance waving me down
>horse buggy overturned, no other horses in sight
>Dismount and walk towards the girl crying for help
>2 bandits come out from behind the buggy pointing a shotgun at me
>even the girl was packing heat
>mfw I got red dead
>wasn't even mad, I could've totally seen that coming


I haven't played it since the original 360 release, how's the steam version? I'm thinking about picking it up used on PS4 but I could get way more leverage out of a PC version.

I waited over 10 years for RDR to get ported to PC and gave up and bought the switch version 1 month before the PC port got announced

Well I brought the RDR bundle which came with the first, second game and it's DLC. So far it's really smooth and no stutters at all.
