Like most Ubisoft open world games, I like the base gameplay but not the world design built around it.

An AAA Star Wars open world game not cracking 1m sales in a month is just insane no matter how you slice it.

You can call it "woke slop" all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that the combat was tight, the traversal felt great, and it actually tried to do something different with the genre. The writing was mid, sure, but it's miles better than the cookie-cutter stuff we've been getting. Stop letting one trailer ruin an entire experience for you.

I don't know what GTA6 is going to do but Minds eye, this, the last Saints Row game, Cyberpunk, maybe conceptually Red Dead should get a pass (western) but these small populated areas and maybe one moderately sized city in the middle of vast "open" deserts is fucking annoying. Open World go wherever you want whenever you want as long as it's in this 5 to 10 block city layout surrounded by desert. Always a desert! never pastures or farm lands once you get of the city no forests in the area. Is grass that fucking hard to do? just Nevada. Like old sci-fi show planets. Everything is is either actual just sand or sand the occasional bush and mountain ranges.

It wasn't good, not terrible either. Kind of like a cold bowl of oatmeal. You can eat it, sure. But it's not an enjoyable experience.

I bought the complete edtionnat half price with all the dlc and season pass.

I have no idea how much of a mess this was at launch but I'm honestly surprised at how good it is. Best Star Wars game by mile. Great core missions, fun to fuck over rival gangs and pick alliances, cities are comfy to explore.

The hate for this game is so fake and forced. It's good.
