I don't care how dead and raped tf2 or the half life series is at this point. They made those games that gave me countless hours of joy and made such an impression on me I'm still comparing games released today trying to find and recreate the fun I had in those games. Maybe it was ignorance and naivety of youth. Either way I know nothing will ever be as good or fun. I just hope at least some of this new shit is at least doing for the youth what these relics of a bygone era did for me.

No one can take away the joyful memories I had of it. Just like my ex girlfriend getting "raped" and turning into a dyke. The fun I had cannot be undone no matter how hard the Jews try. I will still focus on the good memories and use them as a standard for what I look for in media and women.

They're actually trying to get games playable on operating systems other than Windows and architectures other than x86. This is a net win for anyone who doesn't like being locked to Microsoft or a dying, irrelevant platform.

Characters are fine, and I like the game, but I just feel it's a bit consoley and it doesn't have the same impact as the original. Also, it ticks me off that I can't see my feet anymore.

Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.

Lootboxes and cattle passes containing cosmetics.
I've had thousands of hours in games now were I haven't spent a penny. I've maxed out every OW2 cattle pass and spent exactly zero dollars.

Sony, Nvidia and Epic games.
Valve has done nothing of value in the past 15 years and they're only still relevant because of their money printing storefront. an EMP could hit their headquarters and vanish it from the face of earth and nothing of value would be lost

Their devices, which are dedicated to gaming, are worse for gaming than office equipment. They haven't done anything innovative.
>Nvidia
Making better hardware isn't innovative and their
>Epic games
Every single Unreal Engine 5 game has been a technical blunder
They are using monopolistic strategies to claw back market share (exclusivity) which is worse for customers. If they were market leaders customers would be worse off.
EGS is still one of the worst platforms to exist which is why nobody is spending money on it.
They have done nothing innovative to move the industry forward, just stolen other ideas. (At least Valve hires modders they want to make games of).

Notice how you were completely incapable of substantiating how those companies are better and just said names? You lost, Steam won. Evidenced here (>>712841656) (Which you're terrified of responding to)

Valve made gaming on Linux viable as an open source software, that's ahead of any company even tangentially related to gaming this decade.
The bing bing wahoo crowd of this board that loves corporate worship and gated gardens will never understand.
