The game scales down in difficulty from 3 players to 1 if you want to play solo. Solo is absolutly doable as long as you don't suck at it.

When you play solo the nightlord is basically just a regular Elden Ring boss in terms of HP and you get at least one free revive for it, so it's not too bad.

Solo is easy, just play Wylder or Executor

Bell bearing hunter isn't bas solo, you just need to respect him and not fight him early, just like you should in co-op.
The gank fights are annoying solo tho that's true.
