Leviathan's Eikon ability is basically an alt moveset that is op.

The Omega DLC is good all the way through, good fights and it introduces accessories that actually change up your playstyle which the base game desperately needed.
The Leviathan DLC has good bosses and a kino dungeon, but it's bloated with shitty sidequests like the base game has. Adds Leviathan and Ultima eikon powers that also add different weapons to use (with extremely limited movesets unfortunately), and there's a tonberry knife weapon that kills your damage output but boosts your stagger gain, so that's an alternate playstyle you can go for I guess.
Unfortunately both are only accessibly immediately before the final boss so the good things they add to the gameplay come too late to fix any of the problems they address in the base game.
