The entire point of the game is that people are destroying their minds playing extremely fucked up porn games with brutal/depraved/taboo fetishes all day, and to doubled down and exaggerated these fetishes to the absolute extreme, but ironically it attracted the same people it was mocking and the dev abandoned ship.

Have you even played it? There's no way the creators wrote ten thousand pages of cub fucking, then included even more cub fucking into the sequel, without being into it somewhat. It isn't "an exploration into twisted psyches", it is the PRODUCT of a twisted psyche.
