playing with randoms is an experience equivalent to assfaggots. having no reset/forfeit vote is so unbelievably fucking retarded when it becomes extremely apparent when your run is hopelessly ruined with no chance of recovery

It was my first time meeting him in this game and so I made it to his final phase, but having a three phase fight outside of the final boss of a run feels bullshit.

The worst thing about this game is how obsessed people are with trying to rez others.
If they have 3 bars, you are not picking them up without an ult, you need to immediately ult them, then swing down the 2 bars, sitting there for over a minute is just throwing the run for the amount of damage lost to the boss.

people just can't seem to understand spending so much time not progressing the fight just means you will run out of healing and eventually die, you need to end fights quickly.

its my teammate who dies and then my other teammate sits there for ages hitting them while I have to fight the boss solo

the game is genuinely easier solo when I don't need to carry spastics who waste time because if I only need to do 1/3 of the damage I can actually carry my own weight instead of needing to do the damage of multiple people

I wish the game gave you a better incentive to fight the other nightlords, after I beat them I just went for the achievement where you have to beat the night aspect with each character and never bothered with the other lords again

everytime i've played, which i've played recluse and wilder. all i've done is run after my 2 other teammates as they find and kill the boss and collect the reward after they've already killed it, it has quite literally happened everytime i've played it and ive played 6 hours. only time i get to really fight a boss is the end of the night, when my teammates just wait around. it's a bad game

Thats why it is so divisive, I think people are seeing the success in sales as a greenlight to FROM to put out terrible dogshit cashgrabs. Lets hope this is a one off and we don't see FROM be just another developer in a sea of shit. A lot of people critical of the game are long time fans afraid of it being a greenlight to more cashgrab garbage. We still haven't even gotten word about more AC information since 6. You'd think some DLC or something would have been announced by now.

What you need to keep in mind is that this is the Combat Designers baby made to fill time wile Miyzaki catches up on paperwork, and so your dealing with one aspect of a souls game taken to its extreme.

The only time you shouldn't clear the castle is if your playing solo.
If that's the case the enemies inside are to much of an HP sink and your better off clearing up the rest of the camps and buying a weapon from the merchant if needed.

I'm not saying you shouldn't clear it, I'm saying wtf are you doing with the tail end of day 1? Running around doing shit camps? You should be doing the shit bit of it then and cleaning up the top boss on day 2, leaving plenty of time to do the shifting earth bit on top.

The problem is that From has pumping out this kind of crap for years now. From DS3 to ER to ER's godawful DLC to this, I keep hearing how these games are just to make money so From can fund their REAL projects. What real projects? When do we get something from Miyazaki that isn't just rollslop but sloppier than the last entry again?

Sekiro and SC6 are their only standout titles over the last decade. Is Yamamura now the only game dev at From with any talent left?
